The best place in Belize!
The most amazing place to stay in the Caribbean! It is truly the most beautiful place I have ever seen. We stayed on the island for 3 nights and wish we stayed longer! The island has only 3 cabanas and the occasional day tripper, so it feels like you're staying on your own private island. You are right next to the best snorkeling you will find in Belize- we went out each day we were there, once with a guide, the other times by ourselves. We saw an enormous eagle ray, some reef sharks, a nurse shark, star fish, cuddle fish... so and so much more amazing wildlife!! The island also has the best staff you will ever find! Allen was the main point on contact on the island and was the best! The chef, boat captain, maintenance folks, and everyone was amazing!! This was the last place we stayed in for our two week honeymoon in Belize and it was everything I could have ever wanted and more!! Thank you Ranguana Caye!
Best island experience overnight stay
From the time we were picked up at the pier to the end of our trip, we had the best experience at Ranguana Caye. The boat ride took us to this island where we spent 3 nights in tranquil paradise. Although the scenery was beautiful, what set this experience apart was the staff. Juan, John, Lloyd and all the staff made us feel like home- like family. They were attentive, friendly and accommodating to all our needs. We fell in love with the culture of Belize but this team made our experience unforgettable. The food, drinks, accommodations, snorkeling, kayaking, everything was thought through to help us have a memorable experience. I can’t recommend them enough for a relaxing vacation that builds memories for a lifetime.
Experience of a lifetime
Ranguana Caye is so beautiful and operated by great people. Stayed 5 nights and it was perfect. We loved chilling on the beach and snorkeling around the island. The bonfire on the beach was very special. Beds and pillows were really comfortable. Thank you John, Lloyd, Aileen, and Keomi! Can’t wait so see you all again!
Amazing views and top notch service!
This excursion was fabulous! It was truly the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen. The people were SO nice, the island is so pretty, and the service was phenomenal. The snorkeling was the coolest thing I have ever seen. There were so many nurse sharks and the coral reef was gorgeous. We even got to see them catch a lobster and hunt for a crab. It was truly a cool experience. We were the first ones on the island, and had it all to ourselves for well over an hour. The food they served was delicious, and the piña coladas were perfect! We went kayaking around the island, and even tried paddle boarding. I would HIGHLY recommend this excursion if you are looking for gorgeous scenery and a relaxing day on a private island.
Wonderful island adventure
This was by far the best thing we did on our trip to Belize! Our of all of the excursions we decided to go on the day trip to Ranguana Caye Island. The boat ride was smooth and took about an hour to get out to the island. My personal opinion, a boat ride was way better than a 3 hour car ride compared to some of the other excursions we could have done. We got to know some of the people we would be spending the day on the island with. Once we got to the island we were given the option of when to go snorkeling. The crew was amazing and so accommodating. We had a couple of vegans with us and they were able to make a filling meal for them as well as what they had prepared for everyone else at lunch. On the island the bartender made wonderful hand crafted drinks that we enjoyed all day long, that were greatly priced for a private island! They use fresh ingredients such as coconut shavings, lime juices, etc. There was lots to do on the island such as look for sea shells, paddle board, canoe, sand volleyball, horse shoes, and explore the entire island (about 2 acres). We kept busy all day with various activities. When we went snorkeling the crew they had did a wonderful job teaching people who were new to it and experienced. They made sure one was always in the front and back of the group so we could stay together. There was so much sea life that we got to see and learned about. It was 45min-1 hour snorkeling but was well paced and easy to keep up with. There was great music played from the boat ride to the island. There were also other boats that people had rented and road up to the island on (about 2-3 when we were there) and some people even stayed a couple nights on the island as well since they have cabins to rent for the night. There was also a black lab, shadow on the island who greeted and played with people visiting the island. If you didn't want to be bothered with him, he has lots of other things to do on the island such as protect it from pelicans. Definitely worth the adventure to this beautiful island!
